DREW BETTS

Involved in the Real Estate industry since 1998, Drew is an Associate Broker with Royal LePage Solutions and was a past manager at Royal LePage Rocky Mountain Realty until we merged with Royal LePage Solutions which now gives more time for Drew to spend with our clients. A past director with the Alberta West Real Estate Board along with other various committee work, Drew is also firmly committed to donating his time and energy for the betterment of the Real Estate industry.

An active member in both the Canmore and Banff communities, Drew is proud of his support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, which is dedicated to providing funding and support to shelters for abused women and their children in Canmore and Banff, by donating his time to the Walk-A-Mile fundraiser, past Royal LePage Garage Sale, and is committed to donating a portion of his commission from each and every transaction to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation, which is the nation’s largest public foundation dedicated to supporting women’s shelters and violence prevention programs. Locally our donations directly benefit the Banff YWCA and Bow Valley Victim’s Services.

Drew has also been proud to be a part of the annual Royal LePage Food Bank Drive every year since 1998. Royal LePage Rocky Mountain Realty started this tradition in 1992 and that tradition continues with Royal LePage Solutions. It is quite an experience to help organize all the volunteers going door to door to all the homes in Canmore and Drew is very proud of the difference he helps to make for families in the Bow Valley.

Drew has also been involved in many volunteer roles within the community. He spent years as a non parent minor hockey coach and then helped coach his sons hockey teams multiple years. Other passions Drew has been involved with in the past within the Canmore and Banff communities include the Alberta International Sled Dog Classic, where he served in many roles including president, and involvement on a local condominium board.

Drew had always wanted to call the mountains home, and in 1996 made his way to Canmore from St. Albert, Alberta. The mountain playground that is Canmore and the Bow Valley is what brought Drew here, and he continues to this day to enjoy many of the benefits to living in our great mountain community, including among others, trail running, biking and snowshoeing on the many local trails. Drew was very active in running marathons in years past and enjoyed travelling to races throughout western Canada, the United States and Europe.

Drew enjoys being a dad to his son Asher who takes advantage of the benefits of growing up in this wonderful community. Asher has enjoyed many years of skiing and is passionate about high school football and soccer which he has played for the local club team along with teams in Calgary. Asher is now in grade 10 at Canmore Collegiate and deciding in which direction to go after High School.
