We were proud to once again be part of this impactful evening and to help raise a record amount in support of YWCA Banff’s essential services
One of the Bow Valley’s most anticipated annual events, the VINEart Gala & Auction, continued to bring the community together for an evening that blends elegance with purpose. Hosted by YWCA Banff at the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs, this black-tie-optional event is far more than just a night out—it’s a powerful fundraiser supporting critical local programs.
This year auction began with a cocktail reception, followed by a full program featuring fine dining, curated wine pairings, and a highly anticipated silent auction. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in an online auction, opening the experience to the broader community.
Brad, as always, volunteered throughout the evening—helping with final ticket sales, preparing the venue, answering questions, and assisting during the auction as a spotter. He highlighted the generosity of the staff, the fantastic atmosphere, and the overall success of the event.
At its core, VINEart is about impact. This year, a record total of $392,793 CAD was raised. Supporting essential services, including emergency shelter, transitional and affordable housing, and counselling programs. A portion also contributes to the Higher Ground Project; an ambitious initiative aimed at expanding support services in Canmore and across the Bow Valley.
What makes this event truly special is the way it reflects the spirit of the Bow Valley—community-driven, compassionate, and committed to creating meaningful change. Whether attending in person, bidding in the auction, or supporting as a sponsor, every contribution helps build a safer, more inclusive future for those who need it most.
