Calling all local singers and songwriters! Come play at the artsPlace Open Mic Nights hosted by Julie Chang. Entrance by donation; no registration required! Play your original tunes or fav cover songs and take your turn at the mic. Bring your own instruments but be welcome to play the beautiful artsPlace grand piano! Enjoy the artsPlace cabaret set-up and sit with your friends in a cozy cafe-style seating to appreciate the music.

HeARTburn: Interactive Art Exhibition

January 4 - February 11, 2024

HeARTburn – the Bow Valley’s Burning Man community – returns to artsPlace with an exhibition of community-sourced artworks; showcasing an eclectic mix of dynamic and interactive art. Following the first principle of Burning Man, ‘Radical Inclusion’, we welcome all to come and participate in the event. This exhibition invites you to express and engage your own creativity! You’ll find artwork that requires your participation and interaction, as well as collaboration with others. Join the heARTburn community at the opening reception on Saturday Jan. 13, featuring live performance and music.

Snow Days Festival in Banff National Park

Snow Days Festival in Banff National Park is held for more than 90 years. This is a month of enjoyable winter fiesta. In the festival, the visitors can enjoy various winter sport activities like ice-skating, ice hockey, exhibition of ice statues, theater shows, etc…

Bear Street Live Entertainment- Banff

Evenings from Friday-Sunday- Jan 19 - Feb 4, 2024

Celebrate the winter season with live entertainment and performances in the heart of Banff! Featuring artists from across Alberta with live music, circus, street performers, stilt walkers, and more!
