Harvie Heights is located just outside of the Banff Park gates just west of Canmore. Harvie heights was originally developed as seasonal housing but has migrated over the years toward a combination of full time permanent residents along with weekend or holiday owners. Along with the residential area, along the highway is short term accommodation.
Within the residential area there is a playground, ice skating rink and tennis courts for the community’s enjoyment. Harvie Heights is a part of the Municipal District of Bighorn.
